From "one light" to "one net", the intelligent fire emergency and evacuation system has built a solid foundation for urban safety

In modern society, fire safety is an important part of public safety. Whether it is a commercial complex, hospital, school, rail transit or residential community, fire safety in densely populated places is always a top priority, however, fire accidents are like hidden "killers", always threatening people's lives and property safety.

In 2024 alone, there will be about 124,000 construction fire accidents across the country. According to statistics from the Ministry of Emergency Management, 11.6% of the cases of evacuation difficulties due to emergency lighting failure at night or in the state of power outage are as high as 11.6%, of which 65% are due to battery aging and not being replaced in time, and 23% are due to line failures that are not detected in advance.

In addition to the "11.6% emergency lighting failure", evacuation difficulties caused by "wrong direction indication" and "invisible signs in the smoke" accounted for about 18% and 25% of the nighttime power outage fire cases, respectively, which became the second and third largest sources after battery aging.

This series of data is shocking, and it also exposes that the traditional "static sign + battery light" can no longer meet the safety needs of high-rise, large-volume, and complex streamlined buildings.

Solution

In fact, as early as 2017, the Fire Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security issued the "Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of "Smart Fire Protection"", emphasizing that it is necessary to comprehensively use emerging information technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, and mobile Internet to accelerate the construction of "smart fire protection" and realize the transformation from "traditional fire protection" to "modern fire protection".

In this context, intelligent fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication systems have been developed and applied unprecedentedly. The system automatically generates the optimal evacuation path through real-time monitoring and dynamic analysis of fire development trends based on the central intelligent platform. When a fire occurs, it is no longer a fixed arrow pointing, but dynamically adjusts the evacuation instructions according to the actual fire source location and the direction of smoke spread, guiding personnel to avoid dangerous areas. In a smokey environment, some high-end models can also activate strobe and voice prompt functions to enhance sign recognition and effectively solve the problem of "invisible and wrong way". At the same time, the system supports remote inspection of each emergency lamp, accurately locates fault points, and warns of battery aging or line abnormalities in real time to ensure the reliable guarantee of "light and road communication" at critical moments.

Huiyeda solution

As a pioneer in the field of power systems, Huiye Da integrates the concept of "dynamic orientation, intelligent linkage, and global visibility" into the product architecture to build an intelligent emergency lighting and evacuation indication solution covering all scenarios.

System functions

1) Real-Time Monitoring and Feedback:

With the help of Internet of Things technology, the working status of each lamp, such as voltage, current, brightness, fault information, etc., can be monitored and fed back in real time, which greatly improves the reliability and maintenance efficiency of the system.

2) Dynamic and precise guided evacuation:

According to the location of the fire, the direction of smoke spread, combined with the actual situation of personnel distribution in the building, passage congestion and other actual conditions, the direction of the evacuation sign can be dynamically adjusted, and the best evacuation path can be planned for people in different locations to improve the evacuation efficiency.

3) Sound and light integrated guidance:

Through the combination of high-frequency flashing lights and voice broadcasting, escape guidance can still be clearly transmitted in thick smoke or power outage environments, effectively reducing the panic of personnel;

4) 24-hour global remote inspection and control:

Fault location to the point realizes 24-hour uninterrupted remote inspection of the whole system lamps to ensure early detection and early treatment of hidden dangers.

5) Smart Dimming & On-Demand Powering:

Automatically adjust the brightness of the luminaire and dynamically assign power supply priorities based on ambient light intensity and actual needs.

6) Data collection and analysis and decision support:

Collect a large amount of system operation data, understand the operating status and existing problems of the system through data analysis, and provide a basis for system optimization and improvement.

Scheme features:

1) Intelligent dynamic guidance, safe and accurate escape

The system intelligently links with the automatic fire alarm system (FAS) through standard communication interfaces (such as RS485) to obtain the fire location in real time. The central host dynamically generates and issues the optimal evacuation path based on the algorithm, and directs all emergency signs to adjust the direction according to the principle of "safety guidance", realizing the fundamental transformation from the traditional "nearest exit" to the "safest path".

2) High-reliability two-bus architecture, flexible and efficient deployment

The advanced two-bus communication technology is used to realize the integration of power supply and communication. The system has the characteristics of simple wiring, strong anti-interference and large expansion capacity, greatly simplifying the complexity of design and construction, and perfectly adapting to the strict requirements of various new projects and renovation projects.

3) Distributed intelligence and high-speed response

Innovatively adopts a multi-level CPU distributed architecture of "host + regional intelligent unit". The communication modules of each circuit have independent data collection and computing capabilities, realizing local rapid decision-making and command execution, improving the system inspection and response speed to milliseconds, and ensuring that instructions arrive instantly.

4) Non-polar wiring design, convenient and reliable construction

The centralized power supply, distribution box and terminal luminaire in the system support non-polar wiring. This design completely eliminates the risk of mispolarity during construction, significantly reduces installation difficulty and man-hours, and improves the reliability and consistency of the overall system connection.

5) Safe voltage power supply and monitoring of the whole system

Strictly following the latest national standards such as GB17945-2024, the whole system is powered by DC36V/DC48V Safe Extra Low Voltage (SELV), which fundamentally eliminates the risk of electric shock. The built-in high-precision monitoring module provides real-time monitoring and early warning of battery voltage, temperature, and internal resistance to ensure absolute reliability of power supply in case of emergency.

Core values

1) The value of security guarantees

    • Improved escape efficiency: Dynamic evacuation systems can reduce escape times by more than 30% (according to simulation data).

    • Reduce human miscalculation: Avoid people from mistakenly entering dangerous areas due to panic or lack of information.

      2) Energy saving and economic value

    • Smart lighting can reduce the energy consumption of building lighting by 30%-50%, saving electricity bills and operation and maintenance costs in the long term.

    • Reduce the maintenance cost of traditional signage and manual inspection.

      3) Improved management efficiency

    • The centralized platform realizes the unified monitoring and management of lighting and evacuation equipment, reducing the complexity of manual operation.

    • Automated fault alarms and data analysis for preventive maintenance.

      4) Compliance and standardization

With the continuous iteration of technology, intelligence has upgraded emergency lighting from "saving lives after the fact" to "early warning, navigation during the event, and traceability after the event", realizing full-cycle fire safety management and building a solid technical barrier for urban safety. Huiye Da drives safety upgrades with innovative technology, deeply integrates intelligence and fire emergency, so that every emergency light becomes a "smart lighthouse" to protect life, and injects a steady stream of scientific and technological momentum into the urban safety base.
