On July 20, 2021, a rare heavy rainstorm hit the Central Plains. The 24-hour precipitation of the Zhengzhou National Meteorological Station reached 258.1 mm, the first heavy rainstorm on record in Zhengzhou, significantly breaking the historical extreme of 189.4 mm on July 2, 1978. From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day, Zhengzhou's one-hour rainfall was as high as 201.9 mm, once again setting a new historical peak.

Heavy rains have caused serious waterlogging in many places in Henan, and the operation of the city has been greatly impacted. Residents' lives and travel were hindered, and highway, rail and air traffic were almost paralyzed. The subway system was particularly severely affected, with some lines flooded, equipment flooded, and severe operational challenges.

After the disaster, the company's leaders held an emergency video conference overnight to fully deploy the rescue work and clarify the responsibility to the person. On the one hand, it urgently verifies the inventory of materials related to the power supply of the platform doors of Zhengzhou Metro Lines 1, 2, Suburban Lines, Lines 3, 4, 5, and 14 of the Zhengzhou Metro; On the other hand, the marketing and after-sales managers were quickly organized to contact platform door manufacturers such as Fangda, Jiacheng, Qiyi and Zhengzhou Metro operators to initially grasp the damage to the on-site equipment.

In order to fully support the resumption of operation of Zhengzhou Metro as soon as possible, the company set up an emergency disaster team as soon as possible, and the after-sales service department set up an on-site emergency repair team at the same time, mobilizing experienced technicians from all over the country to rush to Zhengzhou to cooperate with platform door integrators and subway owners to carry out the maintenance and restoration of damaged power equipment.

On July 23, four after-sales colleagues arrived in Zhengzhou, and with the concern and support of all employees of Huiyeda, they devoted themselves to the front line of emergency repair of Zhengzhou Metro, fighting day and night to ensure the recovery and operation reconstruction of equipment.

The after-sales team quickly rushed to the scene to carry out emergency repair of equipment. In the equipment room being cleaned, the silt remaining after pumping water is still visible, clearly recording the impact of this heavy rain and the urgency of emergency repairs.

At the same time, colleagues in Shenzhen are also fully engaged in the rear support work. On July 24, we urgently completed the stocking and packaging of 6 sets of modules and switches required for the power supply of the platform door of Zhengzhou Metro Line 5, and the first batch of materials has been sent to Zhengzhou by special car. At present, the company's production workshop is still continuing to stock up to provide a solid guarantee for subsequent emergency repairs.               

On July 25, the company's production department assembled 5 sets of mobile power overnight and equipped with 6 inverter modules, ready to go. The second batch of special cars immediately set off for Zhengzhou. At the same time, the production and assembly of related platform door power supply equipment is also in full swing.                                   

On July 28, we completed the assembly of 7 sets of platform door equipment power supplies in a very short construction period to support the emergency repair work of Zhengzhou Metro Lines 2 and 5, and the third batch of special vehicles has been urgently sent to Zhengzhou.

On July 31, the fourth batch of special vehicles was sent out immediately afterwards, also loaded with 7 sets of platform door equipment power supplies to support the emergency repair work of Zhengzhou Metro Lines 3 and 4.

On August 9, the fifth batch of special buses departed for Zhengzhou, carrying 4 sets of platform door equipment power supplies and 6 sets of batteries for the final recovery stage of Zhengzhou Metro Line 14.

The special car drove to Zhengzhou again and again, working side by side with the subway operator and platform door integrators. Today, the Zhengzhou subway platform door equipment has been fully restored, which has become the greatest affirmation of our all-out efforts.
